TRACO Fire Protection Management
Erik Adams, Service/Inspection Sales Manager
In 2001, I went to Philmont Scout Ranch in the Sangre De Cristo mountain range in New Mexico as a leader for a troop of scouts out of Romeo, Michigan. Besides hiking for a week to reach a peak of 12,000 feet, I had the objective of putting the needs and safety of the boys above my own. I bring that mindset to my current position at Traco Fire in the Service and Inspection Department, putting the needs of my customers first. I have been in the fire protection industry for 15 years and take life safety very seriously. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if you want to talk to a customer service driven fire protection professional, or if you want to find out more about my close encounter with a black bear at Philmont.
Jake Costello, Site Supervisor - Dubuque Region
I was born and raised in a Jackson County Iowa, and graduated from Maquoketa High School in 1997, with an Art and Laura Wendell Scholarship. After a few jobs in the construction field, I decided I wanted to be a Sprinkler Fitter. In 2008, I began my apprenticeship program through Local 669 Sprinkler Fitter Union. In the last 10 years I have obtained a NICET 1 status, IAPMO Certification, Wisconsin and Iowa Sprinkler Fitter License, as well as Wisconsin and Iowa Backflow Testing License.
I like the fact that I am working in the Tri-State area protecting life and property. Outside of work, I enjoy hunting and fishing and spending time with my family (3 boys and one on the way) while traveling.
One of my favorite quotes is, "If you always do what you did, you will always get what you got."
Tony Bossio, Vice President
I started my career in Fire Protection June 1st 1998, with Basic Fire Protection. I was originally hired to perform shop duties and cut concrete. I soon realized I wanted more than that. I joined the apprentice program and continued to work for them until April 1st 2005. I then went to work for Crown Fire Systems. I worked as a Contract Foreman initially and worked my way through the ranks to become the Service and Inspection Dept. Mgr. I worked for them until Sept. 23rd 2011. I had a passion for this aspect of the industry. In 2011, I moved to Iowa to manage the Service and Inspection Department for Tri-State Automatic Sprinkler Inc., Oct.1st 2011 to June 26th 2015. I was hired by Traco Fire July 1st 2015. I ran their Service and Inspections Dept. until July 28th 2017 when I then became Vice President of the company.
I have been in this industry now for 19 years and 3 months. I find this industry to be very fulfilling; I have a passion to protect lives, and property. This industry allows me to do just that.
